Only 11 years old, Keed and three of his closest friends started freestyling. By the age of 13, he wrote his first song. Born and raised in lower income Kansas City, Missouri, Keed moved from neighborhood to neighborhood using his musical talent to establish his credibility and bonds with his peers. After being in many groups, he dropped his first solo project at the age of 18.
